Learn English by Yourself

ASSALAMUALAIKUM WBT ..

Hello everyone.. today we will talk about learning english by ourselves. As we know, some people need someone to guide them in learning english. But, without our own efforts, we will not be able to learn perfectly if only relay on other help.

Why we have learn english by ourselves??

because we have no other choice in learning english. we must make a plan how can we make our english better and also can improve all four languages skills step by step..  

STAND UP FOR YOURSELF 😊

before we learn english, we have to know and remember how to use verbs, adjective, simple present tense, simple future tense, etc. I have learn one way to make it easy to remember from my lecturer and we called it "toyol" ( not the little boy in green actually 👀 )

this is 'toyol' 😉

✈ SIMPLE PAST 

RULES :

• already hapened
• no specific time given
• no continuation

VERBS

- regular verbs ( verbs + 'ed' )

- irregular verbs

✈SIMPLE PRESENT

RULES :

• facts
• routines (always, seldom, never )

SINGULAR NOUNS (verbs + 's')

PLURAL NOUNS ( verbs)

[ be ] [has/have] [do, does]

✈FUTURE

RULES : 

• to talk about an action that will happen late
• to describe an action that is going to happen soon

I / WE only for 

shall - verbs

will - verb

[ be ] - going to

✈ PRESENT CONTINUOUS

RULES :

• to describe action that is happening now

[ be ] verbs + 'ing'

 is

 are 

 am

✈PAST CONTINUOUS

RULES:

• already happened
• specific time given
• no continuation

[ be ] verbs + 'ing'

 was 

 were

IF IN SENTENCE HAVE WHEN - AFTER PAST CONTINUOUS -> SIMPLE PAST TENSE

 example: she was slepping when i called her

IF IN SENTENCE HAVE WHILE - AFTER AND BEFORE -> PAST CONTINUOUS

example : they were playing while we were cooking

• the sun is hot
• they walk to school
• she walks to school everyday
• she walked to school yesterday 
• she is walking to school now
• she was walking to school when i saw her
• she will walk to school tomorrow
